Committee Charters
Peter Cannito
Peter Cannito was named Redwire’s CEO in June 2020. Prior to his current role, Mr. Cannito served as the CEO of Polaris Alpha from October 2016 until December 2018, a high-tech solutions provider developing systems for the DoD and Intelligence Community. Prior to that, Mr. Cannito previously held executive roles, including CEO and COO, at EOIR Technologies and he led a team of software and systems engineers at Booz Allen Hamilton focused on critical defense and intelligence programs. Mr. Cannito has been an operating partner with AEI Industrial from August 2019 to present. Mr. Cannito received a bachelor’s degree in Finance from the University of Delaware, an MBA from the University of Maryland, and served as an officer in the U.S. Marine Corps.
Jonathan E. Baliff
Jonathan Baliff has been a leader in the aerospace, energy and infrastructure sectors for over 25 years as both a public company senior executive and investment and commercial banker. Mr. Baliff has served on the Redwire Board of Directors and as Chair of the Audit Committee since September 2021. Mr. Baliff also serves on the Board of Directors and Audit Committee of Texas Capital Bancshares, Inc (NYSE: TCBI). Most recently, Mr. Baliff was the President of Genesis Park Acquisition Corporation, the special purpose acquisition corporation that merged with Redwire.
Previously Mr. Baliff served as Chief Executive Officer of Bristow Group (NYSE: BRS), the world’s largest commercial helicopter and industrial aviation company serving the energy and government sectors. He served as Bristow’s Chief Financial Officer from 2010 to 2014 until his appointment to Chief Executive Officer. Prior to joining Bristow Group in 2010, Mr. Baliff was the Executive Vice President for Strategy at NRG Energy, where he led the development and implementation of NRG’s overall strategy. Before joining NRG in 2008, Mr. Baliff was a Managing Director in Credit Suisse’s Global Energy Group, where he advised energy infrastructure companies on over $50 billion in merger and acquisition assignments and project and corporate financings starting in 1997. Mr. Baliff started his business career with J.P. Morgan’s Natural Resource Group in 1995 after nearly a decade flying F-4 Phantom fighter aircraft in the US Air Force including the first combat missions during the first Gulf War. Mr. Baliff will continue to serve as a director of Redwire.
John S. Bolton
John S. Bolton has acted as an Advisor to GPAC since November 2020. Mr. Bolton has over 30 years of industry executive experience, including seven years as President of Honeywell’s (NYSE:HON) Aerospace Air Transport & Regional business, a $4.7 billion revenue per year global business enterprise that provides original equipment and aftermarket products and services to the aviation segments. He also spent three years as Vice President leading Honeywell’s Aftermarket for the Business & General Aviation Strategic Business Unit, where he leveraged extensive cross-functional, product and customer experience to provide strategic and tactical leadership to this $1.2 billion business. Mr. Bolton is currently the Owner and President of Blu Sky Edge Corp, an aviation commercial propulsion engine leasing and product sales company. Mr. Bolton holds a Bachelor of Science from Clarkson University in New York and an MBA from Duke University.
Reggie Brothers
Dr. Brothers has served on our Board since September 2021 and served on the board of Holdings from March 2020 until our Business Combination in September 2021. Dr. Brothers has served as Operating Partner of AE Industrial since October of 2022 and was CEO of BigBear.ai (NYSE:BBAI) from June 2020 to October 2022. Previously, Dr. Brothers served as Chief Technology Officer at Peraton Corporation from January 2018 to June 2020 and as Principal at The Chertoff Group from January 2017 to January 2018. From April 2014 to February 2017, Dr. Brothers served as the Under Secretary for Science and Technologyat the Department of Homeland Security. Dr. Brothers received an undergraduate degree from Tufts University, a master’s degree from Southern Methodist University and a PhD from Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
Michael Greene
Michael Greene is the Co-CEO and Managing Partner at AE Industrial Partners, LLC, and has responsibility for the overall management of the firm, primarily focusing on the growth and operational execution of portfolio investments. Since joining AE Industrial in 2008, Mr. Greene has been a member of the firm’s Management and Investment Committees. Previously, Mr. Greene was a Partner with UBS Capital Americas, LLC and UBS Capital, LLC from 1990 to 2008. Mr. Greene was a founding partner of the non-investment grade debt and equity businesses at UBS AG. Mr. Greene serves as a Trustee of The College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, Massachusetts. Mr. Greene received a BA from The College of the Holy Cross and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
Joanne Isham
Joanne Isham is currently an independent board director and executive consultant working with a variety of clients in the defense and intelligence sectors developing strategies, identifying high-value opportunities, addressing critical challenges, and transforming their business.
Joanne retired from the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) after a distinguished career as a Senior Executive. Upon retirement, Joanne joined BAE Systems as a Senior Vice President, Deputy General Manager of Network Systems, where she was responsible for operations and identifying strategic opportunities for new mission focus within the Intelligence Community. Subsequently, she joined High Performance Technologies, Inc., as Chief Operating Officer, responsible for management and operational oversight of the firm specializing in computational science, enterprise technology and planning, and secure software development. She then joined L-1 Identity Solutions as the Senior Vice President for Washington Operations, the leader in planning, developing, and executing the Federal market strategy. Upon leaving L-1, she became an independent consultant and established Isham Associates, LLC. In addition, she was a co-founder of NextFED a consulting firm focused on the national security community. Upon leaving NextFED, she joined Veros Global Solutions, LLC, a national security advisory firm, as a partner. Joanne is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame.
Kirk Konert
Kirk Konert has served with AE Industrial Partners, LLC, as a Partner since October 2019 and as a Principal starting in August 2014. Previously, Mr. Konert was a Senior Associate at Sun Capital Partners from July 2011 to July 2014. Mr. Konert earned his undergraduate degree from Davidson College.
David Kornblatt
Mr. Kornblatt is a director and Chair of the Audit Committee of Universal Stainless & Alloy Products, Inc. (NASDAQ: USAP) and brings decades of experience as a public company executive, including employment as the chief financial officer of public aerospace supplier Triumph Group, Inc. (NYSE: TGI), as well as employment as the chief financial officer of each of specialty metals producer Carpenter Technology Corporation (NSYE: CRS) and air conditioning manufacturer York International Corporation (previously trading under the ticker symbol “YRK”).
Ray Thomas Wallander
Since April 2018, Mr. Wallander has served as the Owner, Chairman, and Chief Executive Officer of Maxwell Bay Advisors, LLC, a platform created for independent director services and consulting. Through Maxwell Bay Advisors, Mr. Wallander has previously served on the boards of Barnes and Noble Education, Inc. (NYSE:BNED) and F45, as well as several private companies. Since 2007, Mr. Wallander has held various roles with Wayzata Investment Partners, LLC, including Corporate Counsel, Principal, and General Counsel. Wayzata is an SEC-registered investment adviser, and prior to joining Wayzata, Mr. Wallander worked as an attorney in private practice. Mr. Wallander holds a Juris Doctorate and Bachelor of Arts from the University of Minnesota.
